The 36th International Epilepsy Congress (IEC 2025) is organised under the auspices of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) and the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE), which also holds regional congresses world-wide.
The programme covers all aspects of epileptology, but five main themes have been selected, representing Neurosurgery, Neurobiology, Clinical, Paediatric Epileptology and Psychology, and each with an associated Main Session.
The programme will cover cutting-edge research in the field of epilepsy through presentations from key opinion leaders, including lectures by world-renowned scientists on topics at the interfaces of epilepsy. Main and parallel sessions will feature presentations by world-renowned experts, and will be complemented by interactive sessions (Brainstorming Sessions, Controversial Discussions etc.), teaching courses and sessions, and oral and poster presentations.
